New Year, New look ft. Warby Parker

New Year. Beginning of a new chapter. The holiday season has come and gone and New Year’s resolutions are in full blast. To those who follow resolutions, many would say that new look and new attitude would be on their list. In this case, mine would be to “keep learning”. The world is big, fascinating and complex, with so much to be explored. I can’t think of a better way to see that than with a perfect 20/20 vision. I’ve partnered up with Warby Parker to launch two of their new collections, Winter 2017 and Resort 2017. To give a little background, this company started as an adventure that later turned into a good cause. “We were students when one of us lost his glasses on a backpacking trip. The cost of replacing them was so high that he spent the first semester of grad school without them” (not recommended) this problem urged them to create a product that is stylish and affordable. Resort 2017 is all about a modern take on retro shapes. This collection offer varieties of …

Style Guide: Valentine’s Day Outfit ft. TheblackTux

With Valentine’s day around the corner, finding the right outfit can be a little intimidating. I’ve partnered up with Theblacktux  an online tuxedo and suit rental to create the perfect outfit for both ladies and Gents. The black tux was founded 2013 by the two handsome fellas Patrick Coyne and Andrew Blackmon to offer men an alternative way of renting suits and tuxedos. Although I’m not an expert in menswear, after doing some research this company proves they’ve got what it takes to bring you down the isle or… if you’re still in the dating zone the sweet “yes” to your question. The black tux has everything you need to achieve the perfect look. Need a shirt they got it, want suspenders? they got it, lost your cufflinks? what color gold, silver or black? Below are images of what they offer (sadly not including the boys) and two outfits I’ve curated for the perfect date outfit. Date #1: Dinner at Cloud Nine Revolving Restaurant – Velvet Jacket tuxedo paired up with a romantic lace dress and sexy nude …

Summer Fever

It’s been a while since I posted some thing new. Here’s a look we shot during summer, inspired by festival season I snatched a piece of button down maxi dress from forever 21 that was totally very new to me.  When first tried on this dress immediately I had a that old “1930’s out for a tea” with friends kind of look. I love this dress so much  that I wore it two different ways: Look #1 Vancouver Luxury Supercar Show at VanDusen Garden, worn with a belt and a pair of wedges the dress looks even more chic and classy. Perfect for a garden party.  Look #2 Strolling around Coal Harbour, paired with denim short and gladiators, this outfit is great if you’re going to a festival or to the beach.         Levis | Forever 21 | Anthropologie
